Time Is Temporary

Whether it is the best of times or the worst of times, it is the only time we have. The beauty of life lies in its finitude; because our time is limited, we naturally strive to maximize it to its full extent. However, we often fail to recognize the fleeting nature of the moment. By the time we realize how precious time truly is, it has often already slipped away, leaving us to waste even more time in regret.

Many of us, myself included, spend half our lives wishing for things we might have achieved if we hadn't spent so much time wishing. This happens because we fail to recognize what the present moment demands of us.

Time brings both sorrow and happiness, yet both are temporary. Our task is to live through both and extract as much wisdom and experience as possible. Ultimately, if you do not value yourself, you will never value your time—and if you cannot evaluate the true worth of your hours, you are destined to waste them.
