Destiny – Luck or Hard work
When we say we are "lucky," we usually mean that we have effortlessly achieved what we wanted. On the other hand, when we deeply desire something and make a conscious effort to achieve it, we reach our destiny through hard work. In both cases, we strive for something, but the paths we take to get there are very different.
Imagine you have a dream one night of achieving something, and by the next morning, it comes to you. In that case, you are lucky. You get what you wished for without putting in much effort, and naturally, you are happy. Since luck favored you, the path was smooth; you are happy with the result, even if you didn't experience the journey of achieving it.
Now, consider the second scenario: you have a dream, but the "next morning" of success doesn't come immediately. In fact, you never know when that morning will arrive. For hardworking people, the approach is different; they must travel a long road to reach their destiny. In this case, whether they actually reach that final destination is uncertain, but putting in their best effort is required.
In both scenarios, you should be happy. If you are lucky and receive what you wished for, you get to enjoy your destiny. However, if you are hardworking, it doesn't matter if you achieve the specific outcome or not. The attempt to reach that destiny is an achievement in itself. While walking that path, you learn many things you had never planned for.
Ultimately, we should cherish the moments in life as they come, because every moment—whether it brings a quick reward or a valuable lesson—has its own pleasure.
