A Cherry on the Cake

We often consider life to be nothing more than the sum of all our routines. Generally, we follow these routines as a path of principles laid down by society—a path we feel compelled to follow.

However, even if we label it "routine," a closer look reveals something special. We often classify things as mundane simply because our preferences and lives change so rapidly. We forget that what was once considered our biggest dream has now become a part of our daily life, often treated with little importance.

We frequently play a blame game with ourselves, convincing ourselves that what is currently available to us is less than what we are worthy of. But just because something is readily available doesn't mean it cannot be beautiful or enjoyable. We are surrounded by miracles, yet we fail to recognize them because they come to us so gently, almost like a dream.

Routine is largely a creation of the mind. Most of the time, we catch only a glimpse of how amazing things really are before we get sucked back into the monotony of our daily habits. In this process, we lose mindfulness.

We can only find true peace if we design our lifestyle the way we want to live it—following a path where we can meet our desired goals. However, we must not ignore the fact that what we already have is beautiful. Our task is not to fix a broken life, but to simply add charm to what is already there.

Life is a gift from God; it is already beautiful. As humans, we strive through our day-to-day efforts to make it even more beautiful, but in the process of doing so, we must not forget to actually live it.
