Space – The Spice of Life

Just as adding spice to a dish entirely transforms its flavor and your reaction to it, the same principle applies to life. When two people meet, they bring their own unique comfort zones. To build a genuine bond, they must adjust; this requires widening one's own comfort zone to create space for the other person to fit in.

Naturally, personality differences can lead to potential conflict. Much like an overly spicy dish can ruin a mood, the wrong influence within your comfort zone can create an internal imbalance. However, these differences are often necessary. Eating the same bland meal every day makes life monotonous. 'Spice'—or the introduction of different perspectives—provides variety and allows you to experience things you never experienced before. Ultimately, it is healthy to leave 'Space for Spice' in your life; it breaks your routine and opens your mind to the diverse world that exists beyond your own boundaries.
