Face The Phase

The journey of life is divided into various phases, each defined by its own unique characteristics. What truly matters, however, is not the phase itself, but our approach to facing it. Generally, we categorize these moments into 'excellent' or 'terrible.' When we receive good news, we feel like we are on top of the world; when bad news strikes, we quickly hit rock bottom.

During excellent phases, we often feel there are no challenges left to face. Yet, these are the moments when we must be most careful. In the midst of excitement and cheer, it is easy to become overenthusiastic or overconfident, which can lead to unintended consequences. The key to navigating good times is to remain grounded and neutral—enjoying the moment for what it is without losing your sense of self.

Conversely, during terrible phases, the weight of trouble can feel overwhelming, leading us to ask, 'Why is this happening to me?' However, this is actually the best time to understand life more deeply. Just as we might overreact to success, we often overreact to hardship, creating more trouble for ourselves through stress and blame.

The most important thing to remember is that every phase of life is a temporary phenomenon. Life asks us to remain neutral and embrace every experience to the fullest. Whether high or low, every phase offers a lesson designed for our ultimate betterment.
